SEO Packages Compared: Which Level Does Your Business Actually Need?

Choose SEO Starter if you are a small or local business with a straightforward site, SEO Standard if you need consistent content alongside technical work, SEO Premium if you compete in a crowded market, and SEO VIP if you run a large or multi-location site. The difference between the levels is depth and volume, not whether the work gets done properly.

Below is how to tell which one actually fits, rather than guessing from the price tag. Current pricing for each level is on its own package page.

The four levels side by side

PackageBuilt forTypical signal you are at this level
SEO StarterSmall and local businessesOne location, a modest number of pages, little or no SEO work done before
SEO StandardGrowing businessesYou need new content regularly and have real competitors in search
SEO PremiumCompetitive marketsYour keywords are contested by established players with bigger sites
SEO VIPLarge and multi-location sitesHundreds of pages, several locations, or an ecommerce catalogue

How to choose without overbuying

Start with your site's size, not your ambition

The single best predictor of what level you need is how many pages genuinely need to rank. A small brochure site does not absorb a top-tier retainer usefully — the work runs out. A large ecommerce catalogue will not be meaningfully improved by an entry-level package.

Then look at who you are competing against

Search your three most important keywords and look at who holds the top five results. If they are national brands with large content libraries, a starter package will not close that gap, and buying one will feel like paying for nothing. If the results are other small local businesses, you do not need the top tier.

Then be honest about your timeline

Every level takes months, not weeks, to show commercial results. Buying a higher tier does not buy speed so much as scope. If you need results in six weeks, SEO is the wrong channel and paid advertising is the right one.

What is included at every level, and what changes

All four packages cover the same core work: keyword research and analysis, competitor analysis, on-page optimisation (meta tags, content optimisation, rich snippets, image alt text and file names), robots.txt and XML/HTML sitemap set-up, Google and Bing webmaster tools set-up and monitoring, and a search ranking and traffic report.

What changes from one level to the next is the scale:

PackageKeywords coveredBlog postings per monthAuthority directory submissions per monthDo-follow social bookmarks per month
SEO Starter5—55
SEO Standard1521020
SEO Premium3042040
SEO VIP5063050

Blog postings are listed on our packages page as postings without content creation. The method is the same at every level; the lower levels simply cover fewer keywords and less volume.

When a bundle makes more sense

If you need more than SEO — a site build, design work, social media — our bundles are usually better value than buying the parts separately:

Common questions

Can I start low and move up?

Yes, and for most businesses that is the sensible route. Start where your site is today, and move up when the work at your current level runs out rather than when a salesperson suggests it.

What if I am not sure which level I need?

Then do not guess. Request a proposal and we will look at the site first. Recommending a tier before anyone has examined your site is how budgets get wasted.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Each SEO package is sold as a monthly subscription that runs for five months, as shown on its package page. SEO work is front-loaded — the first months carry the repair work while the returns arrive later — so plan your budget over a longer horizon than the subscription term.

Does the price change if my site is in bad shape?

The package price does not, but the first few months will go on fixing rather than growing. That is worth knowing in advance so the early reports make sense.
